This blog is mostly for personal use, for me to be able to look back on all my adventures. I'll post pictures from places that I've been and write a little bit about that place and some stories that I want to remember and maybe some random people on the internet want to hear about it, too.

First Semester update
It's been literally forever since I've posted anything. College has been the most insane thing and I've been beyond busy, but I'm moving out! I'm moving to PA with my boyfriend, Joey in two weeks and I'm super excited. I get my dog, Cierra, back, I'll still be able to go to school, I can get a better job, and I'll be on my own. It's kind of terrifying but I think we're going to be okay.
Today is Christmas Eve Eve so I'm slightly panicking to get a few presents done but it's okay! We're getting places.
I really want to start keeping up with the blog, even though no one looks at it, so that I can look at it in the future and know exactly what was going on in my life. With that said, here is a summary of my first semester at Rider:
Math was awful. Bahri wanted me to die. But writing was really fun and if I ever want another degree I think it would be in writing or film media which seems like it's just writing about film. History sucked. Intro to Arts Admin kind of kicked my ass some days but I learned so much and even though it got me down on myself a few times I realized that this is really what I want to do and I want to be here more than anything else. This is my goal in life and above all I want to be in arts admin in my future after Rider no matter where I end up. Stagecraft was great, even though shop hours got annoying. At least I know that I don't like doing lights that much and I don't have to suffer through it again.
Theater wise, I would say this was a great first semester. Immediately I was put on for Of Thee I Sing to do sound, where I didn't do a whole lot but I got to know Darren a little bit and it set me up to actually run sound for She Kills Monsters which was the greatest experience ever. It was an amazing show and being such a huge part of it was incredible. After that I did Welcome the Rain which was a cabaret and was kinda weird but it got me a tech credit so no complaints. I also helped Ellington with his Christmas show and that was kinda fun but I didn't get any credits for it. And now for my next semester I will Assistant Stage Managing for Inherit the Wind and also running sound. Now I'm just hoping that everything I'm doing will work out and I can make time for everything, especially work. (I work at a bowling alley doing birthday parties it's usually awful)
So that's about it for my life update here and I'll be back with a bunch of random stuff in the future to make myself feel like this blog is important.

Mini Life Update
9-11-2016
So, in order to procrastinate as much as humanly possible on finishing my english paper I realized that there are a few things that I could update on this blog that I would count as adventures. This probably won't be very interesting to other people but these are huge steps and milestones in my life that I would say are pretty important.
The first thing that's happened is me going to college! I am now an official student at Rider University in New Jersey. I live here and everything, so it's the first time that I'm away from home and by myself all the time. I'm so used to being in a small house with a lot of people that this is a really big change, but I think I've been handling it relatively well. Classes just started so I'm not entirely sure how I feel about all of them but I'm pretty confident in getting through this semester at the very least.
Another thing that happened is that a medium came and did a big reading last night and it was super cool, because I actually got read. I was hoping to get something from my aunt, who just passed away in July from liver cancer. She was my god mother, my name sake, and one of my best friends and she actually came through. It was pretty special because she mentioned a big celebration in the family that she is going to be there for and my grandfather, her dad, is going to be 80 in december. Her parents will also have been married 60 years in april, which is crazy. My great grandmother on my moms side also came through and gave me a few messages to pass along in the family so I thought that was pretty neat. The medium told me that all the people in my life who have passed said that I was on the right path in my life and everything is going to work out for me, which is a big relief to hear, especially from my aunt. This was the second time I've seen a medium and both times have been really interesting experiences, so if anyone is reading this and aren't sure if mediums are legit, they are but you have to experience it for yourself.
The last thing on this little update is that as of yesterday Joey and I have been together for 2 years. To go from not liking him at all to being with him for this long, and hoping for a lot more time with him, I think we've come a very long way. We may not face any serious barriers in our relationship other than our current 45 minute drive of distance, but we have learned a lot from each other. I have a lot of faith in us moving forward. The medium did say that there was going to be a Darren or Derrick showing up in my love life in the future, but I only take that as a warning to know that there may be harsh things to come for us but we just have to fight through it. It's pretty cheesy, and I'm really not that cheesy of a person, but I was thinking about it when I realized how long two years is. And of course, the adventure part of this is that while Joey was driving me back to Rider yesterday his car broke down and nearly exploded. So, we had to wait on the side of the high way in the heat, in a hot car, waiting for my uncle to show up to take me back to school. But, on the bright side Joey finally got to see the campus and my dorm since he didn't get to move me in.
And because I forgot to add this to the list, I'm adding it now. For our anniversary, Joey bought me tickets to and took me to see Les Mis on broadway closing weekend. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen and heard in my life. After working on it with my theater company this summer, I have fallen in love with the show and he really just made it a dream come true for me to see it. Joey got all dressed up and everything and it was so cute and I'm really mad that we didn't take 500 pictures and the ones we do have are all selfies. We really need to get better at taking pictures.
Anyway, that is my mini halfway through September, mini not so adventurous update.

Top 10 Travel Destinations
While planning my trip to go to New Zealand in the spring, I came across a lot of travel websties and blogs and YouTube channels and it really inspired me to think about other places I wanted to travel. Of course, I want to go everywhere, but there are some places that I want to go more than others and I decided to pick the top 10 places I want to go and put them in one place to look back at when I've gone to these places or I want to choose where to go on my next trip. So, excluding New Zealand because that plan is already in motion, these are the top 10 places I want to visit in my lifetime.

Meeting Sean Astin
Since going to Philadelphia Comic Con in June and meeting Billy Boyd, I've desperately been trying to find ways to meet as many actors from the Lord of the Rings as possible.
