This blog is mostly for personal use, for me to be able to look back on all my adventures. I'll post pictures from places that I've been and write a little bit about that place and some stories that I want to remember and maybe some random people on the internet want to hear about it, too.

First Semester update
It's been literally forever since I've posted anything. College has been the most insane thing and I've been beyond busy, but I'm moving out! I'm moving to PA with my boyfriend, Joey in two weeks and I'm super excited. I get my dog, Cierra, back, I'll still be able to go to school, I can get a better job, and I'll be on my own. It's kind of terrifying but I think we're going to be okay.
Today is Christmas Eve Eve so I'm slightly panicking to get a few presents done but it's okay! We're getting places.
I really want to start keeping up with the blog, even though no one looks at it, so that I can look at it in the future and know exactly what was going on in my life. With that said, here is a summary of my first semester at Rider:
Math was awful. Bahri wanted me to die. But writing was really fun and if I ever want another degree I think it would be in writing or film media which seems like it's just writing about film. History sucked. Intro to Arts Admin kind of kicked my ass some days but I learned so much and even though it got me down on myself a few times I realized that this is really what I want to do and I want to be here more than anything else. This is my goal in life and above all I want to be in arts admin in my future after Rider no matter where I end up. Stagecraft was great, even though shop hours got annoying. At least I know that I don't like doing lights that much and I don't have to suffer through it again.
Theater wise, I would say this was a great first semester. Immediately I was put on for Of Thee I Sing to do sound, where I didn't do a whole lot but I got to know Darren a little bit and it set me up to actually run sound for She Kills Monsters which was the greatest experience ever. It was an amazing show and being such a huge part of it was incredible. After that I did Welcome the Rain which was a cabaret and was kinda weird but it got me a tech credit so no complaints. I also helped Ellington with his Christmas show and that was kinda fun but I didn't get any credits for it. And now for my next semester I will Assistant Stage Managing for Inherit the Wind and also running sound. Now I'm just hoping that everything I'm doing will work out and I can make time for everything, especially work. (I work at a bowling alley doing birthday parties it's usually awful)
So that's about it for my life update here and I'll be back with a bunch of random stuff in the future to make myself feel like this blog is important.
